Boise State, which plays its football games on blue turf and its basketball games in Taco Bell Arena, brings an undefeated team of Broncos to Rupp Arena for its first-ever men's basketball meeting with Kentucky. There is one tie that binds the unfamiliar programs, though. Boise State Athletics Director Mark Coyle was previously a deputy AD at Kentucky. (9 p.m., ESPN)
Following trips to Marist and Middle Tennessee, the UK women's basketball team gets another solid early-season road test when it travels to Chicago to take on DePaul. (7 p.m., Fox Sports 1)
Kentucky visits the Dean Dome to renew its rivalry with North Carolina. After a one-year hiatus, the teams resume a series that the Tar Heels lead 22-13. Though UNC has been up and down this season, it looked awfully dangerous in beating Louisville. Another rung on the learning ladder for the young Cats. (5:15 p.m., ESPN)
College football's best gather in New York City for the 79th annual Heisman Trophy presentation. (8 p.m., ESPN)
