The inaugural Greater Lexington USBC 800/300 tournament will be held at Collins Bowling Centers-Eastland at 6:30 p.m. Wednesday.
The tournament is for bowlers who have rolled a sanctioned 800 series or 300 game in Greater Lexington USBC competition this season. Forty-six local bowlers qualified for the event.
Those award scores included three women and three youth bowlers.
The tournament will be one game rolled across 12 lanes with the winner receiving $500, second place $300 and third $200.
In the event that a youth bowler wins, he or she will receive scholarship money in lieu of prize money.
■ The Greater Lexington USBC annual meeting and luncheon will be held at noon May 16 at the Four Points Sheraton Hotel. Tickets are $20 and available from any Greater Lexington USBC officer or director.
