Brooks OK after boat capsizes in Oregon

Kentucky Coach Rich Brooks had a scare Monday when his boat overturned in an Oregon river while he was on a fishing trip with his son, Brady, and a friend.

All three men made it to a gravel bar in the river and rescuers ferried them to shore.

UK spokesman Tony Neely said he talked to the coach shortly after the trip and he said he was fine.

“He's OK,” Neely said. “He was laughing that people had heard about it so fast.”
