Lexington native Spencer Reinhard put the final touches on the mural he has installed on a wall of the Lextran transportation center on East Vine Street, just before the bus ports, Tuesday afternoon.

This is the inaugural mural in this year’s PRHBTN festival of street art. Reinhard, who is one of the four men involved in the 2004 Transylvania University rare book heist, dramatized in the movie “American Animals,” painted the mural on panels this past summer and mounted them to the transportation center wall. He now lives in Cali, Colombia.

Reinhard will speak at Friday’s Creative Mornings breakfast at 9 a.m. at the Kentucky Theatre.

The PRHBTN Festival will continue in coming weeks with more murals and an exhibit at the Lexington Art League opening Oct. 26.
