Actress and comedian Tiffany Haddish will be coming to Lexington later this month.
Haddish, who starred in “Girls Trip” last year, will perform at University of Kentucky’s Singletary Center at 8 p.m. March 26, a Monday. Student tickets are $10 and go on sale Wednesday, while general public tickets are $25 and go on sale March 14.
The 38-year-old actress made waves at Sunday’s Academy Awards when she appeared on stage with Maya Rudolph. Dozens of people clamored on social media for the duo to host future award shows after their two-minute bit caught plenty of laughs.

Haddish became the first black female stand-up comic to ever host “Saturday Night Live” last November. While wearing a $4,000 gown on the show, she said she would wear it as often as she could.
Sure enough, Haddish did exactly that by wearing it again at the Oscar’s Sunday. She debuted the dress on the red carpet for the premiere of “Girls Trip.”
Haddish also appeared in the 2016 film “Keanu” and former NBC sitcom “The Carmichael Show” before making her breakthough in “Girls Trip” in 2017.
The University of Kentucky has previously nabbed stars such as Seth Meyers, John Mulaney and Nick Offerman as its spring comedians.
