The Goo Goo Dolls' sold-out concert scheduled for Monday night at the Lyric Theatre and Cultural Arts Center in Lexington has been postponed.
The show was canceled because of illness in the band, according to an email from promoter Michael Johnathan of the Troubador Concert Series.
Lead singer John Rzeznik has temporarily lost his voice and is on mandated vocal rest until further notice, Johnathan wrote.
He also wrote that all tickets will be honored at the rescheduled date, details of which would be released later.
The pop-rock troupe is known best for radio hits including Name in 1995, Iris in 1998 and Home in 2010. The band is touring to behind its 10th studio album, Magnetic.
