A community meeting will be held 6 p.m.Tuesday in the multi-pupose room of the Lyric Theatre to discuss "How to do business with the Lyric."
The theater's board of directors and staff wanted to hear ideas on ways to make the facility more accessible and identify programming that the community wants to see.
"The purpose is information sharing on how we can make this a top theater and performing arts facility," said executive director Yetta Young.
At last week's Urban County Council meeting, one resident complained that many in the East End neighborhood thought there was a disconnect between the Lyric and the community. The Lyric is at the corner of Elm Tree Lane and East Third Street.
