The Logan’s Roadhouse on Broadway, the original restaurant in the chain, closed on Monday.
Sunday night was the last night of service, according to posts on Facebook. A spokesman for the company could not be reached for comment Tuesday.
The chain, which was founded in Lexington, went into bankruptcy a year ago, with more than $546 million in debt and plans to close at least 18 under-performing restaurants of the approximately 250 in the chain.
The Logan’s Roadhouse locations on Rojay Drive at Fayette Mall and on Pavilion Way in Hamburg remain open.
The site of the first Fazoli’s, a Lexington-based fast-casual Italian restaurant chain, closed in late June.
The restaurant, located at 1951 North Broadway, opened in 1988 under the name Gratzi’s. Since then, the chain has expanded to more than 200 restaurants in 26 states.
