■ Broomwagon Coffee + Bikes (named for the vehicle that sweeps the course clear after a cycling road race) is now open at 800 North Limestone. Besides bikes and repairs, Broomwagon offers coffee, tea, espresso-based drinks, fruit smoothies, and milkshakes, and sandwiches and wraps, like the Broomwagon grilled cheese with mozzarella, feta, lemon zest, and basil on local sourdough. Pending liquor license approval, Broomwagon will also offer a selection of local craft beers. Open 7 a.m. to 7 p.m., Monday through Friday, and 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday and Sunday.
■ Kentucky Owl, a Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskey also known as the Wise Man's Bourbon, on Tuesday released its second version exclusively in Kentucky. Only 1,380 bottles are in this release, which is expected to sell out quickly. The price is about $170. The Dedman family, who own and operate the James Beard award-winning Beaumont Inn in Harrodsburg, revived the brand last year. The first release of Kentucky Owl was among the Garden & Gun Made in the South winners for 2014.

■ Bluegrass Farmers' Market, open 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday at the Hamburg Liquor Barn, 1837 Plaudit Place, and Azur, 3070 Lakecrest Circle, will have summer vegetables including local tomatoes, beans and sweet corn and fruits including apples.
