Christmas cheer: Lexington nightspots open on Christmas night

Surrounding yourself with family is great at the holidays, but sometimes you just need to get away from it all and have a drink.

Here is a selection of bars in downtown Lexington that will be open for business on Friday night, Christmas Day. Hours of operation are subject to change.


The Bar Complex, 224 E. Main St., (859) 255-7557, 6 p.m.-2:30 a.m. Christmas drag show at 10:30 p.m. Dance floor opens at 11 p.m. $5 cover.
