The Ohio Valley Regional Emmy Awards were presented Saturday night in Lawrenceburg, Indiana, and several Central Kentucky TV stations and other video producers came home winners.

Among the local notables in the winners circle were Matt Jones, who won for best program host/moderator/narrator for his work on the WLEX series “Hey Kentucky” and WKYT reporter Miranda Combs and photographer Barton Bill for their investigative report “Tax, Title and Past Due.”

Overall, WLEX took home three Emmys, KET won two and WKYT got one. There were also two awards for the series “Bluegrass & Backroads,” produced by Louisville-based Kentucky Farm Bureau Studios, which airs on KET and RFD TV; and Lexington’s Oculus Studios added two more Emmys to its trophy case.
