Jennie Garth, formerly of Beverly Hills 90210, seeks a rural lifestyle — with TV cameras.

Friday: Jennie Garth: A Little Bit Country is a new reality series that follows the former Beverly Hills 90210 star as she and her three daughters move from Los Angeles to a seven-acre farm in central California. Apparently, she wants a more simple and quiet life — as viewers all over America look on. Reps for CMT confirmed to Entertainment Weekly last month that Garth's recent divorce from Peter Facinelli will be addressed on the show, but he apparently doesn't appear on it. 9 p.m., CMT.

Saturday: Kentucky Life celebrates Earth Day across the state. Host Dave Shuffett helps net and band songbirds in Red River Gorge, explores the modern trend of urban beekeeping in Louisville, pitches in to help out across the state during Commonwealth Cleanup, and more. 8 p.m., KET.

Saturday: A special edition of 20/20 takes viewers on an exploratory ride down Sunset Boulevard in Los Angeles. For decades, the iconic 22-mile road has been host to the wildly gifted and tragically desperate, many of whom fail to find a Hollywood ending to their stories. 9 p.m., ABC.

Sunday: Masterpiece Classic continues its standout season with a two-part adaptation of Sebastian Faulk's best-selling novel, Birdsong. It's the poignant story of two lovers (Eddie Redmayne and Clemence Posey) torn apart by World War I. 9 p.m., KET.

Sunday: Julia Louis-Dreyfus returns to series television in Veep. 10 p.m., HBO.
