Rubbish is repurposed as art in Trashformed, a new exhibit at Transylvania University’s Morlan Gallery. Elegant wall art created from discarded garden hose and life-size rabbits formed from dust bunnies are among the works by David Edgar, Suzanne Proulx, Michelle Stitzlein and David Wilson. The exhibit opens with a reception from 4 to 6 p.m. Wednesday and will be on view through Feb. 21. Go to   for more information.
