Only five lawsuits remain from the families of passengers who died in the Comair Flight 5191 crash at Blue Grass Airport in 2006.
Three cases were settled in 24 hours as of Thursday morning, said airline spokeswoman Kate Marx.
She said negotiations with plaintiffs continue.
The remaining liability claims are scheduled for trial Monday in U.S. District Court in Lexington. Comair has said that it hopes to settle with the families and avoid a trial.
The names of cases that were settled late Wednesday and Thursday were not immediately available Thursday afternoon.
Terms of the settlements are confidential.
Flight 5191 crashed Aug. 27, 2006, at Blue Grass Airport after it took off from the wrong runway. Forty-nine of 50 people on board died.
