A man who was killed while walking along railroad tracks in Dry Ridge was a 35-year-old originally from Africa. The Grant County Sheriff said Monday the man, who has not been identified, was struck by the train just before 9:30 p.m. The Grant County Coroner's Office did not release the man's name pending notification of family. The man was an African citizen, possibly from Senegal, and was living in Cincinnati on a work visa. The man worked at Grant County Foods in Dry Ridge. Police are still investigating the incident, the coroner's office said.
