Friends took Johnson to Pattie A. Clay Hospital in Richmond, where he was treated and released, EKU spokesman Marc Whitt said.
The hospital notified EKU police at 2:49 a.m. Sunday. No one has been arrested.
On- and off-campus advisers, chaperones and EKU police officers were present at the party, Whitt said.
The university will begin an internal review of the incident by reviewing security measures for such events.
