The University of Kentucky will hold a roundtable discussion next week about politics and young voters.
The discussion will include Kentucky Secretary of State Trey Grayson, Lexington Mayor Jim Newberry, Bill Goodman of Kentucky Educational Television, other civic and media leaders, and 18-year-old, first-time voters. It's scheduled for 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Sept. 17 as part of a Citizen Kentucky public forum titled "Young Voters and the Presidential Election."

The Constitution Day event will be on the Main Building plaza on campus, and it will be moderated by Buck Ryan, executive director of UK's First Amendment Center, UK officials said.
"All good citizens are invited to join the fun for 2 minutes or 2 hours," Ryan said.
