Monday is the last day of the Lexington and Fayette County Parking Authority's month-long ticket amnesty program. The program encouraged anyone with unpaid violations to pay their debt by reducing the combination standard parking and late fee from $30 to $20.
During the amnesty period so far, 45 people have taken advantage in the reduction of fines and fees.

The Parking Authority's booting program begins Sept. 22. That program will be directed at those who have multiple unpaid parking tickets.
Drivers can pay citations at the LEXPARK office located at 114 North Upper Street. Phone payments may be made at the LEXPARK office at 231-7275.
