An Eastern Kentucky teenager died Thursday night in a two-vehicle wreck that occurred after she drove into oncoming traffic, Kentucky State Police said.
Priscilla A. Hunt, 19, of Phelps was driving a 1991 Pontiac Bonneville east on Ky. 632 in Pike County near the community of Kimper when she lost control of the car, crossed into westbound traffic and hit a 2008 Chevrolet Silverado.
She died at the scene. Hunt was not wearing a seat belt, state police said.
The wreck occurred about 6:30 p.m.
Gary Duty, 35, who was driving the Silverado, was airlifted to Cabell Huntington Hospital in West Virginia. He was later released.
The passengers in his vehicle, Debbie Duty, 40, and a child were taken to Pikeville Medical Center, where they were also treated and released.
Police don't know whether Gary and Debbie Duty were wearing seat belts.
