Two men who parachuted from an airplane that crashed Sunday night in Pendleton County were in fair condition Monday morning, officials said.
The pilot, Dannie Scott Sharp, 33, of Butler, says he was not able to restart the 1973 Sorrel Skybolt plane when the engine stalled about 7:10 p.m., according to Kentucky State Police.

The plane, which was flying from Gene Snyder Airport near Falmouth, crashed on Knoxville Gardnersville Road in Pendleton County.
Scott and the passenger, Dwayne Sharp, 33, of Germantown, were airlifted to University of Cincinnati Medical Center.
Hospital spokesman Grant Wenzel said both men were in fair condition Monday morning.
The Federal Aviation Administration has been notified about the crash, which remains under investigation.
