A Rockcastle County woman died in a wreck early Saturday after her car was rear-ended by a pick-up truck on a Madison County road, Kentucky State Police said.
Bonnie Jessica Holbrook, 21, of Brodhead, was driving west on Ky. 1295 about 2 a.m. Saturday when her car was struck by a pick-up truck driven by Ashley Marie Al-Qersheri, 22, of Richmond.

State police said Holbrook appeared to be slowing down or stopping in the roadway when her vehicle was struck from behind. Holbrook, who was not wearing a seat belt, was taken to Pattie A. Clay Hospital in Richmond where she later died.
Al-Qersheri, who was wearing a seat belt, was not injured.
State police are investigating the cause of the wreck.
