Mayor Jim Newberry is expected to report on the progress of affordable housing and low-income renters programs during a meeting with the interfaith group BUILD Monday night.
Newberry is expected to discuss his commitment to the creation of an Affordable Housing Trust Fund (AHTF), which would multiply public revenues dedicated to affordable housing, according to BUILD officials. BUILD stands for Building a United Interfaith Lexington Through Direct Action.
