Man wanted in Hart County parking lot robbery

Police were searching Tuesday for a suspect who used a gun to steal a woman's purse in a restaurant parking lot.

The armed robbery occurred at Aunt Bee's Restaurant in Horse Cave about 5:30 p.m. Monday after the suspect stopped to ask for directions to Bowling Green.

He displayed a semi-automatic handgun to snatch a woman's purse.

The female's hand was injured during the robbery, police said. She was taken to Caverna Memorial Hospital where she was treated and released.

The suspect is described as a black male with a goatee, wearing a blue ball cap with a possible Chicago Cubs or Bears logo on it. He was wearing a black sweatshirt and blue jeans. He left the scene in a black and gray Dodge truck.
