More than 2,700 Kentucky Utilities customers in north Lexington experienced a power outage Sunday afternoon, a company spokesman said.
The outage is thought to have been caused by a "bad breaker" in the Joyland substation, which serves a wide area around Paris Pike and north and south of Interstate 75, said KU spokesman Cliff Feltham.
