Lexington police took a teenager into custody Sunday afternoon after he drove a stolen car into house.
The stolen car had been involved in an accident shortly after 1 p.m. Sunday and was later spotted by a Lexington police officer who followed the car in a cruiser. The teen lost control and the car crashed through the wall of a house at 3793 Lady Di Lane, which is south of Armstrong Mill Road and east of Parliament Way and Tates Creek Road.
The teen was treated at a local hospital, said Lexington police Lt. Scott Blakely. Apparently no one else was injured in the crash.
