GEORGETOWN — A semi in the Norfolk Southern Toyota support yard was struck by a train Thursday afternoon, but no one was injured.
The wreck occurred about 4:15 p.m. on tracks at Cherry Blossom Way near Interstate 75.

Georgetown police Sgt. Todd Stone said the train was traveling to a yard nearby to pick up cars. He said the truck driver, who has not been identified, wasn't sure about where he was going when his semi was struck by the train.
The train pushed the truck several hundred feet before it could stop.
