A third person died over the weekend after a wreck in Lincoln County.
Bonnie Armstrong died early Sunday at University of Kentucky hospital from injuries sustained in a head-on crash Saturday night, according to the Fayette County Coroner's Office.
State police say James M. Holden, 36, of Crab Orchard, was driving east on U.S. 150 when his 1993 Chevy truck crossed the center line, slamming into a 2000 Chevy Silverado driven by Millard F. Armstrong, 60, of Mount Washington. Bonnie Armstrong was a passenger.
Police said Armstrong had driven his truck almost completely onto the shoulder of the westbound lane when Holden's truck smashed into him. Lincoln County Coroner Bill Demrow pronounced both drivers dead at the scene.
Three passengers in Armstrong's Silverado were taken to UK Medical Center. Armstrong and his passengers were wearing seat belts but Holden wasn't, according to the state police.
