On Tuesday, the city will begin picking up limbs in areas that have private garbage pickup. The city has been divided into six sections, and private contractors will do the work.
Tree debris pickup in city collection areas began last week, concentrating in the quadrant of the city where waste normally is picked up on Mondays. A first pass of the Monday pickup quadrant was completed, with the exception of Tates Creek Road and Cooper Drive, which will both be serviced this weekend, the city said in a news release.
Tuesday quadrant: Began Monday; expected to end next Tuesday.
Thursday quadrant: Expected to begin Wednesday; ; expected to end Feb. 25.

Friday quadrant: Expected to begin Feb. 26; expected to end March 7.
Haul your own debris: To Haley Pike Landfill, 4253 Hedger Lane, or to the pad on the Old Frankfort Pike landfill. Hours: 7 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. weekdays; 7 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Saturdays.
A second pass of all areas that have city garbage pickup will begin March 8 as needed.
