Lexington police arrested three juveniles Monday evening after crashed a stolen sport utility vehicle.
Police first stopped the silver SUV about 5:30 p.m. Monday, after it entered a construction zone on Todds Road. The driver took off down Todds Road as an officer approached the vehicle, Lexington police Lt. Dan Hegeman said.
When police caught up with the SUV, it had struck a street sign at Chelsea Woods Court. They drove to the end of Chelsea Woods, where three teens jumped from the vehicle, Hegeman said. The empty vehicle then rolled forward and struck a parked car.
The three were arrested and charged with fleeing police and receiving stolen property, Hegeman said.
