A woman who has been arrested in Arkansas will face arson charges in connection with a fire at her grandmother's home in Lawrenceburg Sunday night.
Firefighters were called to the home of Jeannette Scroggins, 81, at about 5:11 p.m. Sunday, said state police Trooper Ronald Turley.
Scroggins' granddaughter, Cheryl Brogan, 41, who lived with Scroggins, was arrested for traffic violations after a crash in Little Rock, Ark., Monday morning, Turley said.
He said Brogan told the police in Arkansas that she had set fire to her grandmother's home.
