A body found in rural Woodford County was identified Friday as that of Patricia Last, who has been missing since fall, Versailles police said.
The remains, wrapped in a tarp, were found about 3:30 p.m. Thursday near Lillard Ferry Road, about 6 miles south of Versailles, police said.
An autopsy was performed Friday morning at the state medical examiner's office in Frankfort. Dental records were used to confirm the identity, said Versailles police spokesman Pat Melton.
The last contact anyone had with Last, 65, who ran a horse farm in southern Woodford County, was Oct. 10. Last's son, Trey Medlin of New Mexico, said he couldn't comment when contacted Friday by telephone. "Little bit too early. Little shook up," Medlin said.

A former employee of Last, Richard Kincaid, 42, of Salvisa, was indicted in February for possessing some of Last's stolen property. Police have questioned Kincaid, who worked for Last for a short time in September, about her disappearance. He has not been charged in her death.
Police recovered a trailer, lawn mower, string weed cutter and an air compressor that had belonged to Last.
Kincaid remains in the Boyle County jail.
