2 men rob Perry Co. home

Two men invaded a Perry County home early Monday and took prescription drugs and cash at gunpoint, Kentucky State Police said.

The incident occurred about 1:50 a.m. on Upper Second Creek Road in the Darfork community, troopers said.

According to state police, a man entered a woman's home while she was asleep, pulled her brother, Randall Edwards, from his bed and onto the floor holding him at gunpoint.

A second robber then took the woman's purse and her prescription medications from another room in the house. The two fled with the drugs and an undisclosed amount of cash, police said.

Troopers described one of the robbers as white, about five feet, eight inches tall, and weighing 150 pounds. He was wearing blue jeans, a red long sleeve sweater or jersey coat and a black ski mask, police said. No description of the second man was released.
