Golden Alert issued for Powell woman

A Golden Alert has been issued for an 82-year-old woman from Powell County who has been missing since Friday afternoon.

Juanita Brandenburg, who has dementia, went to Winchester for a hair appointment, then was last seen at a gas station there, law enforcement officials say.

Brandenburg is 5'4" and about 150 pounds, with gray hair and hazel eyes. She was last seen wearing a tan or light brown sweater and slacks, and she could be wearing glasses.

She was driving a silver four-door 2004 Chevrolet Lumina with license plate number 5986 BE.
