MAYFIELD — Police say a teacher and coach in Western Kentucky has been charged with three counts of burglary.

The Paducah Sun reports that a camera set up at a southern Graves County home allegedly shows James B. Forthman Jr., 35, going inside.

Deputy Sheriff Jeremy Prince's report says it appears that Forthman forced his way through a side door Monday in an unsuccessful attempt to find pain pills. He also is accused of burglarizing the home twice in March.

Forthman is a physical education teacher at Graves County High School and coaches girls' basketball.
