A Central Kentucky sheriff was injured Friday night while flying his ultra glider plane, officials said.
Bourbon County Sheriff Mark Matthews continued to recover from the accident Tuesday, said Fran Howard, an office manager in the sheriff's office.
"He is resting comfortably at Central Baptist Hospital," Howard said.
She said Matthews' family requested that no other information, including his condition and details of the accident, be released.
