Lexington police seek inmate who left work detail

Lexington police are looking for an inmate who walked away from his assigned work detail at police headquarters on Main Street on Wednesday.

Johnny David Head, a minimum security community service worker, was serving time for non-payment of fines and probation violation, according to police. Head, who was expected to be released from jail on June 7, is described by police as white, 28 years old, 5'10" tall, weighing 160 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes. Lexington police are asking that anyone who has information about Head's whereabouts to contact them.
