A man was shot in the leg Tuesday night during an argument near Martin Luther King Boulevard and Fourth Street.
But Lexington police have no immediate plans to file charges against the alleged shooter.
Police received several calls about 9:40 p.m. Tuesday that four or five shots had been fired in the 400 block of Martin Luther King Boulevard. Officers found a man with a gunshot wound to his left thigh outside 425 Martin Luther King Boulevard, said Officer Christopher Sutton, a Lexington police spokesman. Sutton said the alleged shooter was also outside the residence.
The two men, whom police have not identified, had been in an argument when the victim allegedly "sucker-punched" the shooter, Sutton said.
