A body was found partially submerged in a creek on or near Donamire Farm Saturday night.
A member of the farm's security staff found the body in a portion of Town Branch running through "a remote part of the farm," said Lexington police Commander Robert Stack.
Police were called to the scene at 6:09 p.m., he said.
Just before 8 p.m., Stack said the person's gender, race and other identifying information were not known, because the body had not yet been removed from the water.

It was not clear how long the body might have been there, he said.
The farm, which is on Old Frankfort Pike, is owned by Don and Mira Ball.
The entrance authorities were called to is off Yarnallton Pike.
Mira Ball said in a telephone interview that she has "no idea" who the person might be. She said farm workers do not live on the property. She said she was not certain that the area where the body was found was actually on the farm property.
