Pigs had to be rounded up near Interstate 64 eastbound in Scott County Monday after a tractor-trailer crashed.
The accident occurred about 4 a.m. A truck carrying the pigs overturned, a Scott County sheriff's dispatcher said. No one was injured, but a few pigs were killed.
One lane of the road was closed after the accident and drivers were urged to be cautious while the pigs were loose.
The live hogs were transported to the Blue Grass Stockyards in Lexington
