A Lexington man has been charged with attempted murder in connection with a shooting in Paris early Saturday.
Bryan Peyton, 35, of Paris was shot three times while standing at the corner of Seventh and Main streets in Paris.
Paris Police say the shooter, Roderick Hill, 22, fled the scene and was later arrested in another part of town. Hill was taken to the Bourbon County Detention Center.
Peyton was taken to the University of Kentucky Hospital, where he was treated and released.
