The "Help is Here Express" bus tour will be at Cheapside Park in Lexington from 10 a.m. to noon Friday.
The bus, which offers access to the Partnership for Prescription Assistance, helps Kentuckians needing financial assistance for their prescriptions to find programs that provide prescription medicines for free or nearly free.
The partnership, a nationwide effort sponsored by pharmaceutical research companies, provides access to more than 475 patience assistance programs, nearly 200 of which are provided by pharmaceutical companies.
Those who can't visit the bus may call 1-888-4-PPA-NOW or visit the partnership Web site at www.pparx.org to see whether they qualify for discounted or free medicines.
