Men use stun gun to rob three at Lexington hotel

Lexington police are searching for three suspects who allegedly used a stun gun on two victims during a robbery at a Lexington hotel.

Three men were grilling just before midnight Wednesday outside the Value Place Inn at 2370 Lake Park Road when three men approached them. One of the men had a semi-automatic handgun and another had a stun gun, Lexington police Lt. J.J. Lombardi said.

The suspects used the stun gun several times on two of the victims, Lombardi said. They were injured, but refused medical treatment.

The armed men fled the scene in an older model Jeep Cherokee after they had taken cash, a wallet and a case of beer, Lombardi said.
