Kentucky State Police have charged David J. Caudill, 33, with two counts of murder in the Carter County deaths of Virginia Massard, 49, and Joseph Cox, 27, who were found dead Monday in a home on Mocabee Creek.
Carter was arrested earlier in the week when he was found in Olive Hill driving Massard's vehicle.
Another man, Richard M. Tomlin Jr., 48, also has been charged with two counts of complicity to commit murder and one count of receiving a stolen automobile.
Caudill was previously charged with receiving stolen property, operating a vehicle while under the influence, driving on a suspended license, possession of a firearm by a convicted felon, being a persistent felony offender and flagrant non-support. Both men were being held in the Carter County Detention Center.
