Crash kills Richmond woman, 73

A 73-year-old Richmond woman died at the University of Kentucky Hospital after a crash Monday.

Tommy Syble Lainhart turned into the path of an oncoming vehicle at the Eastern Bypass and Boggs Lane in Richmond at about 6:55 p.m., according to the Fayette County coroner's office.

Lainhart was pronounced dead at 11:07 p.m.

Combs, Parsons & Collins Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

A dispatcher at the Richmond Police Department said she could not provide information about whether anyone else was injured in the collision.
