A Lexington motorcyclist hit by a suspected drunk driver last week is recovering from his injuries, hospital officials said.
Samuel J. Mullins, 23, was taken to University of Kentucky hospital in critical condition last Tuesday night with multiple fractures. He was listed in good condition Tuesday.
Mullins was riding east on West Maxwell Street when his motorcycle was hit by a car on South Upper Street.
The driver of the car, Paul J. Haney, 41, who police said ran a red light, was charged with driving under the influence and assault. Haney will go to court on April 26.
