People can buy general admission tickets in Thursday's one-day discount of $15 for the 2010 Alltech FEI World Equestrian Games for general admission.
The special promotion is online only, available at www.ticketmaster.com/promo/1aoj1d from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m.
It's important to know that general admission tickets are not available for Sunday, Sept. 26; Saturday, Oct. 2; or Saturday, Oct. 9. Events on those days — endurance, cross country and the driving marathon — take place all over the Kentucky Horse Park, so it will be necessary to buy $45 event tickets on those days.
Regular general admission tickets will go on sale Friday for $20 through May 31 as a special promotion. After that, general admission tickets will be $25 for adults. Admission for children younger than 12 will be free with a ticketed adult.
The general admission, or grounds pass, does not allow entry into most individual competitions of the Games, which will be Sept. 25 to Oct. 10. Anyone who already has bought a competition ticket does not need to buy a grounds pass for entry on the day of the event.
