Lexington police seeks public opinion about its work

The Lexington Division of Police is asking for residents to express their thoughts about the agency.

On Monday, people will have two opportunities to share their opinions — good, bad or indifferent — about the Division of Police, as well as past experiences and suggestions for the force.

Assessors from the Commission on Accreditation for Law Enforcement Agencies Inc., the Division of Police's accrediting agency, will serve as the middleman.

On Monday, residents may call (859) 258-3664 from 1 to 3 p.m. or attend a meeting at 6 p.m. in Urban County Council chambers, 200 East Main Street.

For more information, contact Lexington police spokeswoman Sherelle Roberts at (859) 425-2006.
