An overturned tanker truck shut down a portion of eastbound Interstate 64 in Clark County Tuesday.
Both eastbound lanes were closed between Exit 94 (the Ky. 1958 exit) and mile marker 96 until just after 11 p.m., according to a state police dispatcher and a state traffic information Web site.
The dispatcher said he was not aware of any injuries or other vehicles involved in the incident, which occurred about 2:30 p.m. The truck had been carrying fuel, and cleaning it up caused the delay in reopening the road.
