More than 1,000 Bath County residents were without power Wednesday morning because a tree fell on a transmission line just east of Owingsville, Kentucky Utilities spokesman Cliff Feltham said.
Feltham said crews restored power to the 1,150 customers about 2:20 p.m. Wednesday.
On Tuesday night, there was an outage that affected East Kentucky Power Cooperative customers in Fleming, Bath and Montgomery counties, said Nick Comer, a spokesman for East Kentucky Power. It took about three hours to restore power, Comer said.
