A woman died Wednesday morning when a CSX train collided with a pickup truck, Berea police said.
Hillary Hadley, 21, of Columbia died at the scene, police said.
The collision was reported about 11 a.m. on Mayde Road in the industrial park north of town, Berea Police Capt. Ken Clark said.
The northbound CSX train with 94 empty cars struck the 2007 Ford pickup at the crossing.

"There are no gates at the crossing, but there are warning lights and bells," Clark said.
The pickup truck came to rest off the tracks about 35 to 40 feet from the point of impact, he said. Hadley was ejected from the truck.
Police said the accident is under investigation.
